Memories

The first thing I heard when I first set foot in Pelion Elementary School was jazz music. I was confused and looked around to see a band playing in the cafeteria and students munching on corn dogs. Pretty cool first impression, you have to admit.
It turns out that the Pelion High School jazz band comes to PES to perform every year! They were back yesterday to play as students ate lunch. The kids love it! I didn't have time to stay in the cafeteria to hear a performance, but I did leave my door open so we could hear them from the art room.
